Outfit Essex Excursion Dress
Today I wore my new dress from Modcloth, called the Essex Excursion Dress, for the first time. I love this dress so much, it is the perfect addition to my wardrobe. I can't speak highly enough of it. I adore the peter pan collar and this is the feature that drew my attention to this dress in the first place. I wish more clothes had peter pan collars. The ship print is so unqiue. I was unsure about the print upon seeing it on the website but it is so sweet in person and I love it. My favourite part of the dress is the layer of tulle underneath which gives it the perfect shape. I think it's hard to find dresses with this shape so it is definitely a feature. It actually gave me the idea of sewing tulle onto some of my existing dresses. The dress actually came with a belt of the same material but I like it better with the red belt. Instead of going for the obvious choice of red shoes and bag, I decided to pair the dress with nude accessories mainly so I could wear my new modcloth shoes.

The Outfit Essex Excursion Dress looks very feminine and pretty on you. I love the big black bow on your bag and the Peter Pan Collar on the dress - they are popular. Sher just did a post yesterday called "Kinda Minnie" wearing a dress with a Peter Pan collar. The print on your dress looks pretty and I like the colour - I can see how it would coordinate with any number of accessories.

The collar is my favorite part! It's like a wider version of the Peter Pan collar - a look that I am totally feeling right now. I mean, I'm pretty sure that I would look ridiculous in it because it's not my style, but I lovelovelove the look on gorgeous people like yourself who can wear it so well. Jealous!
