Outfit

Hi everyone! How are you? I hope you are having a much better week than I am. I've run into some bad luck this week. On Tuesday I burnt my legs by sitting too close to the heater all day at work. I was absolutely freezing so there was almost no distance between me and the fan heater. So many people have asked me why I didn't notice what was happening. I seriously didn't. It felt hot but not to the point of burning and since I had been so cold beforehand I liked it warmer than usual. Yes, I am very silly for allowing this to happen. IIt seems very obvious now. 'll never be doing that again. My legs are much better even in just the couple of days since it happened. But seriously, it was so painful and my ankles were really puffy too. Worst experience! Then on Wednesday my computer decided to stop working. It won't turn on and we believe there is a hardware problem. This is the worst possible time for my computer to break down. With four final essays to write and only three weeks of semester left, the timing is just so cruel. I just can't believe this has happened. Why me? and why now? It's going to take weeks to repair; the semester will probably be over by then. Fortunately my mother in law has saved my life but allowing me to borrow her laptop for the next few weeks. This has really impacted me and I've felt pretty sad about it lately. Anyway, enough of my ranting...

On Tuesday it was Rydog's birthday and we went out for dinner.I bought him a leather jacket, a pink tie, gym shoes and a miniture guitar ornament. Since I didn't see him much on Tuesday (we both had work), we decided to take some time off on Wednesday together. This is what I wore.It was too cold to wear this dress without a cardigan; I just took my cardigan off for the photos. I bought the dress in a recent Dangerfield sale for a very good price. I really wanted to buy it in red instead but they were out of my size; although my mum tells me blue is much better because I look like Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz. The red cardigan is an item I wear with so many different outfits in my wardrobe; it is incredibly versatile. These are my favourite flats right now too.

Oh my goodnes, that IS a Dorothy dress! (Very envious, I'd really like a Dorothy dress!) You look utterly adorable and particularly with that fetching red cardie and flats! Lovely!
Ooh, so you are getting married? When?!!

And that's so rubbish about the computer and the burning! Honestly, I think computers only do it when you desperately need them for something! Hope the legs are ok soon!

I'm sorry that you burned your legs! That is unfortunate. I hate being cold, though. :( Love the pop of red in this outfit. Your dress is too cute.

I loved both the book and the movie the "Wizard of OZ",
and I adore huge ruffles with the fancy ornamentation on the short sleeves of your Dangerfield "Dorothy" Gingham Dress! Love your cute Equip Hair Bow and pretty colour of you cardigan that matches your Diana Ferrari Bag.

I hope you're taking good care of the skin on your legs where they got burnt (ouch). I hope the techies manage a good and quick repair on your computer. It's sweet of your mother in law to lend you hers. Good luck with your essays and final three weeks of the semester.

Your outfit is lovely and so is your smile.
