Alannah Hill My Summer Glow Cardigan
I've always loved stripes, bows and the combination of red, white and blue so this is certainly my style. It's a classic design but also a little different because most of the cardigans at Alannah Hill are solid rather than patterned. My only concern is the large composition of cotton. I usually avoid buying cotton cardigans because of how they lose shape and I don't like the feel of the material. It's not completely cotton so I'd have to see what this cardigan is like in person.

Kate Spade Be Mine Wallet
Today I had to go into the city to collect my race kit for the weekend (running event and ocean swim) and while I was there I went into the Kate Spade store. I rarely go to Sydney Westfield so visiting the Kate Spade store was a treat. It was amazing! The store is so pretty and sparkly. The Valentines collection is so beautiful and I've always liked heart print. I found so many pieces I wanted to buy. Without going on a massive shopping spree I could probably justify purchasing a wallet but I'll wait until my birthday because I'm trying to get out of the habit of spending just because I see something I like.

Nike Free Rn Shoes
I already have the Nike Free Rn in a few different colours and I'm very impressed with them (I'll write a separate post about them on my fitness blog eventually). They are running shoes but I wear them for bootcamp, to tennis and to and from swimming. I love the minimalist and lightweight design and they are very comfortable. The bright colour range is also a feature and, at the moment, the Free Rn is available in 13 different colours on the Nike website. I desperately want to add this pink and blue version to my collection but I'm spending less at the moment so resisting the desire to buy more.

Marc Jacobs Shine Fragrance
I discovered this today during a quick trip to Sephora. I was amazed by the pretty metallic packaging in red, gold and pink. It's hard to choose a favourite but overall I think the red was the most pretty in person. As far as I can tell it appears to be the usual Marc Jacobs Daisy fragrance just with different bottles. I've always liked Daisy and I'm running low on it (maybe I'll try and get some for my birthday next month). I can still smell the scent on me which I sampled earlier today. So pretty. Knowing me, I'd probably find some excuse to own all three colours.

Alannah Hill Only in Your Dreams Cardigan
There are many Alannah Hill cardigans I love at the moment (and as always!) but this one is my favourites because of the unique colour. It's so difficult to find yellow clothes and especially mustard yellow which is unfortunate because it's such a standout shade. It also comes in pink which is also pretty. I adore the detailing and beading.

Kate Spade On Pointe Swan Small Maise Bag
Following on from the Kate Spade theme, I've always wanted a bag. It would be my favourite brand of bag to have (other than Chanel of course!) I love how the bags are so creative; you don't see a swan printed bag every day. To me, it's classic and fun at the same time. I've always liked swans for some reason too. At $489 it's an expensive bag. I'm sure it could be seen as an investment, right!?!!

Que Sera Sera Peekaboo Dress
I tried on the new Kitten D'Amour collection in store on Thursday and purchased one of the other dresses (think it will be my next outfit post). However, this was a close second and I'll keep my eye on it. I love this particular peekaboo cut and wish there were more dresses like it. I also like the patterns in this dress, both of them alone are amazing but I adore them even more when mixed. Plus anything pink and purple is definitely my style. The one aspect of this piece I didn't like was the absence of lining in the skirt section. I'm very particular about the quality of clothes (and most Kitten D'Amour dresses are lined) so that was disappointing. If it had lining it probably would have justified purchasing two dresses from the one collection.

Nike Free RN in Pink
Ever since I started a routine involving A LOT a sport this year, I've loved Nike shoes. I'm not quite sure how I managed to acquire four pairs since the beginning of the year. The beautiful bright colours means there's always a design I have my eye on; at the moment it's this pink pair. I like both the Free Run design and the Free Run Distance design for training. For long runs and racing I like to run in Nike Fly Knit.

Alannah Hill Sunny Days Skirt
I see a theme here; everything so far has been pink. It's been a long time since I've purchased a piece other than a cardigan from Alannah Hill but at the moment I like many of the skirts and dresses. The floral print is very much my style and the fit and flare design is the only type of skirt I wear. I haven't seen it in person yet, only online but I'm sure it's just as pretty.

Alannah Hill Takes the Cake Heel
I love these heels more than I can put into words. They are super pretty and I adore the vintage inspiration. These heels remind me very much of a pair I used to have from Modcloth about five years ago. They were my favourite ever shoes but completely wore out and I've been desperate to replace them ever since. I think this would be the closest match I've ever seen. They also look comfortable as far as heels go. I'm not as willing to wear comfortable shoes as I used to be; need to save my feet and ankles for the long distance running.

Guess Linnea Small Classic Tote
I'm drawn to many of the patterned bags in Guess at the moment and this is my favourite. I see another theme developing here and that is florals. It's very classy with the black background against the floral accents. I haven't purchased a Guess bag since maybe the start of the year. I was very put off by the experience I had with a Guess bag about a year ago (extremely poor quality where I ended up sending even the replacement back). But if I like a Guess bag enough now it might be time once again to get into the market again.

Wittner Suki Flats
It's been ages since I purchased shoes from Wittner. I remember a few years ago the whole store was completely my style, but recently it's been the opposite. However, I love this pair! I've always liked yellow shoes as they are so bright and happy, adding a lot to any outfit. The cut out detailing makes the shoes that little bit more interesting. They would be the perfect summer shoe.

Kitten D'Amour Tiffany Coat in Mint and Cream
It's been awhile now since I've liked anything from Kitten D'Amour and almost three months since I've made a purchase. These coats were released a few days ago and finally I can say I love them. I was beginning to think Kitten D'Amour wasn't going to release any coats this year since it's already winter and they are still selling last year's stock. I adore both colours but slightly favour the blue/mint version. However, I already have two pale blue coats so not sure which one I'd go for. Of course it's the collar which draws me to these coats- it's absolutely gorgeous and adds so much to the look. I also like how to buttons are all different. The general vibe reminds me of the movie 'Frozen.'

Alannah Hill The Wild Heart Cardigan
There are quite a few cardigans I love in Alannah Hill (it's completely unrivaled when it comes to cardigans, in my opinion), but this one is definitely my favourite. It's such a unique and pretty shade of blue. I love the collar design which is made up of little pearls. I'm keeping an eye out and hoping this lovely cardigan will come on sale very soon.

Wheels and Dollbaby Dita Cardigan in Lavender
I'm a huge fan of the Dita Cardigans from Wheels and Dollbaby but only have two in my collection so far (some of the crazy fans out there have all 22 colourways!) The last two colourways released didn't appeal to me. However, last week it was announced a lavender version of this cardigan will be coming out shortly. I am so excited because I wasn't expecting it, and purple is one of my favourite colours. The shade is absolutely beautiful and I adore the way the black embroidery stands out. I've already pre ordered it.

B.A.I.T Footwear Robbie Heels in Green Starlet and Purple Starlet
As I've mentioned a few times now, I'm totally in love with B.A.I.T Footwear and the Robbie Heels are one of my favourites. See post on my collection here. I now have this exact shoe in four different colours  which is rather excessive but I'm sure I'll think of an excuse as to why I need it in six different colours! I was very happy to see it's now also come out in sparkly green and sparkly purple. These shoes would add so much to any outfit; I don't see sparkly shoes too often. I love the vintage design and they are very comfortable too- a perfect shoe!

HydrateM8 Water Bottle
I recently discovered the UK brand HydrateM8 and this range of water bottles. This bottle shows the required level of water consumption in hourly intervals throughout the day. It's such a simple concept yet I think it would be very effective and add a little fun to the day. I'm going to buy one of these.

Alannah Hill Last Day of Magic Cardigan
Once again, Alannah Hill does not fail to disappoint when it comes to cardigans. I want so many from there right now. This is a new release so unfortunately I don't think it will be coming on sale any time soon. I am completely drawn to snowflake. It's so adorable and not something you see on clothes all the time. I have a slight preference for the navy blue version but love them both.

Alannah Hill Falling for You! Coat
I love this time of year when all the winter coats start to come into the shops. I especially adore all the cooler weather shades like burgundy (as you can tell from my post here). This coat is so classy with the detailed buttons and the small fur collar. The Alannah Hill coats are always so warm and beautiful quality. Unfortunately there will have to be a rather significant sale for me to add this coat to my collection as it retails at $529, and I did buy a few too many coats last season. But I will remain hopeful.

Alannah Hill Sweet as Pie Cardi
This beautiful shade of burgundy/rouge noir, maroon, wine etc. (or whatever one wishes to call it) is currently my favourite colour. It is so classy and pretty and I'm constantly drawn to pieces in this shade. There are many pieces in Alannah Hill at the moment in this colour, especially cardigans, and I want them all! I don't purchase as much from Alannah Hill as I used to given that my Kitten D'Amour obsession has taken over but I had a look in AH the other day and it's all coming back to my. I think my next shopping trip will be there instead of Kitten.

B.A.I.T Footwear Robbie Heels in Cream
I'm sure you're all able to understand my love for B.A.I.T Footwear after seeing my post here. Despite having the Robbie style in three colours already, I really want to add the cream version to my collection (also wish I could have the gold pair and the silver pair but there's no way in a million years I'd buy the same pair of shoes in six colours). The cream pair would be extremely versatile and go with so many outfits which I avoid pairing with the black version. They are also patent which is always a preference; some of the newer colours in the Robbie appear to be more matte such as the red pair. Another reason I want these shoes is because they remind me of one of my favourite pairs of shoes which I purchased from Modcloth many years ago. They wore out and, despite my best efforts, I could never find them again to repurchase.

Kitten D'Amour Love Me Tender Cameo Comb
I don't have too many hair accessories from Kitten D'Amour as some of them can be a little OTT, even for me. However, others are very beautiful and this is one is absolutely perfect. The red and cameo is a very classic combination and velvet is my favourite ever material. I especially love how it's on a comb as I don't see this too often and find these types of accessories much easier to use.

Alannah Hill Almost With You Cardigan
Another AH cardigan- see how much I love Alannah Hill right now? I love this one because it combines my favourite colours of pink and purple and the print is very unique. The addition of the black and white makes it even more pretty and classy. I'd like to try some pattern mixing with this lovely cardigan- florals and polka dots would be especially amazing.

Alannah Hill Home Sweet Home Dress
I like the dresses at Alannah Hill more than Kitten D'Amour at the moment (although that may have been because I've already purchased my favourites from Kitten). The AH dresses, at retail price, are well out of my price range which is unfortunate. This particular dress is currently on sale and I've had my eye on it for many months now. The lace detailing is extremely beautiful and the abstract floral design is super lovely. The two in one design, and the non-fit and flare silhouette, are different from my usual choices.

Latest Obsession: Rich Tones

Burgundy, maroon, wine, rouge noir...whatever one wishes to call it... is an amazing, classy and beautiful colour. I love how rich and regal it looks. I am especially loving the tones with a red, rather than purple, undertone at the moment. Ever since the middle of last year my love for this colour has increased. It was many of the pieces I purchased last winter in this shade, such as my Forever New coat and Wheels and Dollbaby Dita Cardigan, which converted me into loving this colour. Now in the middle of summer, my love for this colour certainly has not diminished. I've never really understood why certain colours are associated with particular seasons. I think burgundy can easily be worn all year round just as black can be worn in summer and pastels can be worn in winter. I recently purchased the flats displayed in this post (unfortunately not the kitty cat ones) from Forever New and it renewed my love for this shade. There are some more pieces coming into the store in burgundy shortly. As the cooler weather approaches, I expect more of the stores to do the same. I'm always looking out for this pretty jewel tone.

Are you a fan or tones in this realm- burgundy, maroon, wine, rouge noir?

Here are a few of my favourites right now:

Kitten D'Amour Black Coffee Dress
I initially didn't like the whole Black Coffee collection because it was inspired by corporate wear and I don't wear much black or blouses and pencil skirts. However, I tried on this dress recently and it became the exception- it certainly isn't too corporate inspired with the oversized flower and lace. It's such a beautiful dress in terms of quality, design and fit. It would be such a classic piece to have for many years to come. I just wish it didn't cost $329!

Kitten D'Amour LouLou Black Handbag
As you can see from my earlier post, I already have this bag in red. I think I'm going to buy it in black also given how much use I've had from the red version (used it every day since I bought it). I love the patent finish, the structure and the pretty bow. It's also proven to be very practical as it's large and even fits a laptop inside.
;
B.A.I.T Footwear Sindy Flats
B.A.I.T Footwear have impressed me again with another pair of adorable and unique flats. I have a few different pairs now and seem to be developing the habit of purchasing multiple colours. I was very happy to notice last week the 'Sindy' collection. There's such a lovely range of colours and I love the cutout design. My favourite would have to be the seafoam version.

Miu Miu Fragrance
I really want to try the Miu Miu first fragrance and add the cool looking bottle to my existing perfume collection. I’m sure part of the reason I’m drawn to this fragrance is because of the pretty black and white cat all over the advertisements.  I often receive fragrances at Christmas so I definitely associate this pretty with the current time of the year.

How unsurprising- another dress from Kitten D’Amour is on my current loves list. I didn’t expect an additional collection to be released at Kitten D’Amour this year given there have been a number of new ones recently. However, this one snuck in without much notice earlier in the week. It was fun being able to check it out in store on a Tuesday night given the Christmas extended trading hours. The dress comes in pastel colours- yellow, pink and blue. I’m especially drawn to the yellow version as the lemon is incredibly pretty. The lace detailing is so beautiful and I adore the lovely silhouette. The dresses remind me of the Angelina Ballerina series which I used to love when I was a child (before it turned into a cartoon and became less good).

Glass House Galapogos Candle
The husband and I have developed a love for scented candles this year. We found out from the staff at Peter Alexander that the Galapogos scent by Glasshouse is the candle which is usually burning in store. I’ve loved the scent of Peter Alexander for ages but never realised it was a candle and that it was available to purchase there. I think we will have to go back and get it.

Current Loves

The release of the new Dolce Vita collection at Kitten D'Amour has been long anticipated. I saw the previews a number of months ago and new it would have some of the most beautiful pieces ever. However, even by those standards, I never expected to love this pretty lace dress quite as much as this. I tried it one a few days ago and it was even better than it appeared in the pictures. The lace is so gorgeous, I love the black detailing and the silhouette is very flattering; I tried a petticoat underneath which added even more impact. I just wish it wasn't so expensive. I'm sure it's worth the price but I have never spent so much on anything before. I do have a couple of more formal events coming up towards the end of the year so that would give me the excuse to spend money; you know what I am like!

Kitten D'Amour Dolce Vita Dress
I never expected this dress to be one of my favourites when I went to view the new collection. However, I tried it on and it's one of the most beautiful dresses I've ever seen. Wow. The deep red lace contrasting detailing is such a unique and special feature. I also love the bow detailing, the buttons and the silhouette. Again I wish it was less expensive beacause I'd love to somehow add it to my wardrobe. I hardly ever wear black so it takes something extra amazing to make me want to introduce black to my style. The only issue I had when trying on this dress was the length. It's well below the knee and it would be difficult to hem with the quality material and tulle underskirt. I know this style of dress looks good when longer but I'm not as comfortable with that in comparison to above the knee length; it also doesn't give me as many options or dressing it down and wearing flats. However, if money was less of an object, this would be the second Dolce Vita piece I'd buy. I wish the cutout lace feature could be present on more clothes.

Lady Bug Spot Dress
There isn't possibly a dress which is more my style than a polka dot dress. It's always at the top of my wishlist no matter how many I have; it's great that different coloured and sized dots are capable of making each piece unique. The black and white is so classic and beautiful. I love the high shine material, sweetheart neckline and tulle underskirt; there are all my favourite features of a dress.

Review Bon Voyage Jumper
I've always been a fan of the nautical look so I'm always drawn to pieces of this nature. There's also a dress at Review which is nautical inspired that I love at the moment. The stand out anchor motif is an amazing feature and the red stripes on the sleeves are a lovely touch. It's a little more casual than what I usually wear but I like that, especially since it's winter and there's often nothing better than a cosy jumper.

Pinup Girl Clothing My Little Pony Tote Bag,Pinup Girl Clothing Tote Bag,Pinup Girl Clothing Tinkerbell Bag
Pinup Girl Clothing always impresses me with the range of unique, fun and adorable bags. I seriously need this My Little Pony Bag in my life- rainbow, MLP and holographic material is just the best combination. I've also loved the range of Disney character totes bags from Pinup Girl Clothing for ages now; I included the Ariel and Belle versions on my wishlist a while ago.  I noticed there are a few new ones out such as Tinkerbell and Snow White. I most definitely need to get one.

Current Loves

Sportsgirl Fairisle Adventure Jumper
I usually don't shop at Sportsgirl. While I certainly do like the accessories, I've only ever owned a couple of clothing items/shoes from the store. Sportsgirl is not really consistent with my style, the sizing often runs large and the clothes seem rather overpriced in general. So this piece is somewhat different from what you’d usually expect to find on my wishlist. However, I absolutely love it. I tried it on this week at lunch time and it was so warm and cosy. I adore the printed design and it’s good quality. These types of jumpers are so tempting during the cold weather we are experiencing at the moment. I'm always drawn to a sweet 'winter' print such as this; I love my snowflake jumper, bow jumper and red, white & blue jumpers from Dotti which I purchased in previous years. I totally didn't know that this print has a name- apparently it is called fairisle.

Kitten D'Amour Bella Senora Dress
I've been waiting for the release of this dress after seeing it initially many month ago. It's so perfect..and so pink! The detailing, black & pink contrast, floral inspiration and fit & flare design is all totally my style. I tried it on the other day. It was much longer than I anticipated. I don't usually wear anything below knee length. However, this is so long that it is pretty much ballerina length and I actually think that is very pretty and vintage looking. It's way more expensive that I expected but I do have store credit with Kitten D'Amour so maybe I'll end up acquiring it. It wouldn't be particularly versatile as, despite me being overly dressed up for all occasions, this one would have to be reserved for special events.

Bella Senora Lace Top (Fuschia)
After having not purchased anything from the last couple of Kitten D'Amour collections, the store is now back on my radar. I'm sure that's partially to do with the fact that the current collection is centered around hot pink. I adore the lace detailing and the bow design. I also love the quality and very fitted structure of tops from Kitten D'Amour. It's very similar to the lace tops from the 'Girl Cray' collection which I purchased late last year and have been my favourite tops ever (green here and red here).

B.A.I.T Footwear Gloria Lace Flats
I have these shoes in red (pictured here and here) and they are my favourite shoes I have ever owned. They are perfect and I can't speak highly enough of them. I adore the lace up inspiration, the vintage vibe and the classy dual colour combination. They go with absolutely everything. I know I'll get so much use from the black pair, as I have with the red pair, that I believe it's worth owning both versions.

I love Review cardigans; I have them in a couple of different colours but would be so happy to own more colours of the rainbow. I'm very fussy about the quality of cardigans so I usually buy only Review and Alannah Hill; these particular ones are good quality. I often like to customise these cardigans with sparkles, embellishment, buttons and sequins. They are a great basis for a DIY. I especially want the mustard shaded cardigan because I've wanted a mustard piece for years but haven't been able to find the right one. This cardigan is certainly the right one as it's very beautiful. I also adore the pretty shade of pink here. Surprisingly I don't actually have too many pink cardigans so it would be great to add this one to my collection. I'm waiting for them to come on sale because these cardigans often do eventually.

I recently noticed these adorable flats on both the .B.A.I.T Footwear website and Modcloth; I'm not sure if they are  a new style. They are the sweetest ever and remind me of shoes I used to wear as a small child especially because of the cut outs. This style also comes in both white and black, in addition to this red patent version. I can't decide which pair I like the most.

Forever New Single Breasted Coat in Mulberry
Since the colder weather is coming the shops are instantly filed with mulberry, forest green and navy shades. I'm usually not one to wear 'winter colous' in the cold weather and 'summer colours' in the warm weather. I pretty much wear the same shades and pieces all year round. But this year I'm very attracted to all shades mulberry and burgundy. I'd definitely wear this colour all year but it only seems to be available in the shops during winter. This coat is actually less of a purple tone and more of a red tone in person. I've never owned anything in this shade before and it's completely gorgeous. It is actually the same coat which I have in light blue which I received for my birthday; I showed it in my youtube video here. I love the design, it's so flattering. Forever New keeps releasing this coat in more and more unique shades such as blonde, ballerina pink, forest green and lilac petal. I wish I could buy it in six colours!

Peter Alexander Sesame Street Sweater and Character Face Classic Pant
It's not everyday that you see Sesame Street Pyjamas; I think I'm actually going to have to buy this set. There should be more fun character related pieces around; these are the ultimate and perfect pyjamas. They of course bring back many memories of the amazing shows we watched in the 90s and that crazy big bird. I've always loved Peter Alexander pyjamas but I don't have too many because they are rather expensive. I guess that makes the pairs I have more special.

Review Elle Fluffy Cardigan
I love the trend of fluffy jumpers/tops but the oversized jumpers that we usually see in the shops aren't really my style. As soon as I saw this I knew it was perfect and totally my style; It's much more delicate, feminine and pretty. As I mentioned in my Tiffany blue post here, I love this colour right now; it's one of my favourites.

Guess Delaney Tote Bag in Stripe
Guess bags are my weakness, I can't resist a shiny beautiful new one. I especially like the 'Delaney' style as it's sturdy and classy and a good size. I have the 'Delaney design' in a couple of other patterns; namely black & white polka dots and pink logo. There are a few others which I have my eye on such as the leopard print version but my absolute favourite is the stripe version. I don't often see too many stripe bags around; in fact patterned bags in general can often be rare, so stripes would be an amazing addition to any wardrobe.

Chalk of the Town Dress in Kittens
I've had my eye on this dress for awhile now and it's perfect for me since the little white cats very closelyresemble my Juliette Princess Miracle. A cat printed dress is amazing but a dress with fluffy white cats is even more amazing. Some of the kitty cats are playing and others are wearing crowns. The kitties are very pretty against the pale blue background. It's also the fit and flare silhouette that I love the most. It's Bea & Dot from Modcloth and I've always been happy with my fun and uniquely printed pieces from that brand.

Retro My Little Pony Starshine Tote Bag
I love the bags from Pinup Girl Clothing; the range of Ariel, Snow White, Belle and My Little Pony bags are so unique and amazing. It's pretty obvious why I want this bag, I mean it's just the best. I'd own so many more Pinup Girl Clothing bags if the postage wasn't so high to Australia. I used to own the Little Mermaid Pencil Case and lost it. I was going to replace it but was very discouraged to see that the postage for one $10 pencil case was $35. I surely can't justify that.
