For years my jewellery was all over the place and in many different boxes, so to achieve some sort of organisation, I decided to buy a large box to fit all my jewellery in. I bought it in red since it matches my room (and my laptop computer!). I like all the different compartments and it is very practical for my needs.
I also have this jewellery holder, which Rydog gave me this year. The dress is velvet and I like the colour.
This really is a random post, but I think thats ok. I'll probably show you some more of my items later.

When I saw your jewelry box my eyes opened really, really wide. LOL. It is awesome! I love how it has all those different compartments for various types of jewelry. :)
I do have one of those jewelry holders, except mine is a pink sparkling party dress. Yours is gorgeous! I have never seen the purple evening gown before. Very cool!

and you know what - i have a jewellery holder like that too - mine though, wears a bath robe. fairly weird, but i think it's cute :)
for the longest time i never had any order to the organization of my jewelry. it would mostly be strewn about my desk and bureau. since then i've acquired a jewelry box and necklace stand - they come in quite handy :)
