Outfit

The other night I attended a cocktail party with Rydog and I wore my new Alannah dress that I received for my birthday. I wish these pictures turned out better because they certainly do not accurately represent my dress. There is some beautiful detailing which doesn't show up particularly well and this dress also has a layer of silk with chiffon over the top and the sleeves. It was becoming dark as I was taking the pictures and I could do with a better camera . Anyway, these are the best pictures that I could come up with given the circumstances and I hope that next time I wear this dress I will be able to take some better shots.

That is such a stunning dress and you look beautiful in it! You remind me of a movie star from old Hollywood films...this dress is very Grace Kelly or Audrey. I also really like the shoes you paired with the dress. I love how they're not typical black sandals or high heels. They make the outfit even more unique. xoxo

Black dresses are tough to photograph if you're hoping to catch small details but just looking at the cut and lines of the dress is enough to convince me just how special it is :D

Thank you for the award, Imogen :)

Wow, even with the faded light in these photos I can tell that this dress is absolutely exquisite. The cut is lovely and it fits you so well. The booties really complement the dress. Very elegant look.
