Item of the Week 014

I'm sorry for my recent and unexpected absence from blogging. I have been extremely busy lately and haven't been able to find the time for commenting and posting. I certainly hope this will change soon. Today I thought I'd show you another cardigan that I customised a few weeks ago. I've probably customised close to ten of these cardigans now but since the warmer weather is coming I plan to move onto tops. I want to start sewing lace collars or peter pan collars onto summer/spring clothes and lace trim to the bottom of dresses. I am also considering selling some of my creations on etsy. I don't think this will happen for awhile, maybe even weeks or months, but it is something I will work towards later in the year.

I posted some of my other customised cardigans here and here. The method for creating this cardigan is the same as I posted here except with this cardugan, I left the original buttons unchanged.

I love the colours you chose, it reminds me of the union jack! Very jealous of your sewing skills too :) And thats an awesome idea to sell your creations, peter pan collars are so popular at the moment they'd probably sell very well! xx
