As 2011 is coming to an end (where has all the time gone?) I thought it would be an appropriate time to review and post some of my favourite outfits that I have shown on my blog in the second half of this year. I already covered my favourite outfits from the first half of the year here. 2012 will be a significant and extremely eventful year for me. I am planning to get married in December, move into an apartment with Rydog and our kitten Juliette and finish my law degree. I am both scared and excited at the same time. I believe these are the changes that I have so desperately wanted in my life for a long time now. However, there are some elements of my current lifestyle that I will miss and I am worried about the likelihood of everything falling into place according to plan.
The last photo on the left is the outfit I wore on Christmas day. I will post more photos of it soon.
One of my favourite aspects of Christmas time is the opportunity to dress up for a range of family events. A few days in a row to dress up in pretty dresses and high heels is perfect, in my opinion. For me, Christmas Eve marks the start of the Christmas dressing up. I wore my new polka dot heart cut out dress. It is totally my style with the polka dots and I've wanted a heart cut out dress for ages but I could never find the right one until the other day, I also wore my new floral heart locket which I received from my sisters for Christmas. Rydog and I attended a family Christmas Eve party last night and into the early hours of this morning. It was great fun. I was very unwell yesterday so I was lucky to even attend this party. I seriously hope I will be fine for the Christmas period.
On Saturday afternoon Juliette Miracle, Rydog and I had a fun little photo shoot together. I just love these photos of our little family. My sister took the photos for us. My beautiful Juliette loved the experience too! I wore my 70s inspired dress from Portmans which I posted here. It is most definitely one of my favourite dresses at the moment and I have worn it to a number of family events now. There are so many shoes I can wear it with. I usually wear it with my cream coloured or red heels but the other day I thought I'd be different and style the dress with my Seychelles heels which I showed here.

This is the outfit I usually wear when I cannot decide on an outfit or when nothing else seems to work. I frequently find myself in such situation so this is probably one of my most worn outfits over the last few months. I first posted this dress here and here when I spent the day at the beach last July. It is very versatile and there are so many shoes and cardigans that I can style it with. I also love the vintage vibe to this dress. I customised the cardigan myself by sewing the white flowers onto it. I wore this outfit last Thursday when it was cold and raining. I just had time to snap a few photos in a short rain break.
