I've got my university graduation next week. I'm very excited because it will be nice to finally have something to show for all those years of study. Although it feels strange having a double degree from university and still being unemployed. I'm hoping that will change soon. I'm very thankful to have you all as my friends. I get very lonely while everyone else is at work; I spend the majority of that time on my blog. Also, fashion has really helped me too. These days dressing up is usually the only point to my day and the only thing I look forward to. I always used to think that endless free time would be incredibly fun. But since being unemployed I've realised that the opposite is the case; I no longer value what I have too much of, I question the point of my life every day and it's attacked my self worth like nothing else. I guess what I'm saying is I don't know what I'd do without fashion and blogging right now. Thank you for your part in that.
I love this furry plant every time we go to the park now. I only discovered it recently!

That black Alannah Hill dress is beautiful! That was very sweet of your sister in law to give it to you. I love the the delicate lace inset/crocheted detail of the lovely flutter sleeves and the neckline in the back and the white crocheted trim at the neckline and above the waist in the front. The dress also has a lovely shape. You wear it beautifully. I love the settings where your outfit photos are taken.
I do hope that the Australian economy improves and that the employment situation improves for the legal professions there. I know you will do brilliantly and that your legal work will be earn much more for whomever employs you than whatever the cost of your compensation will be.
In the mean time, thank you for sharing what you do of your life with us. I love reading what you write and seeing your photographs. I myself only do about one post a month (I just did a new one a day and a half ago) so I've been impressed with how many you have managed. All the best.

And hooray for graduating! It definitely feels good to get that degree after all the hard work.
It's very hard to be unemployed. You feel like the world is passing you by. But then you'll get a job and miss the free time. So try to enjoy what you have available to you now before it ends. I envy your ability to blog so much. My job interferes with that.
