I'm sure it goes without saying that I am drawn to the Marc Jacobs perfumes because of the pretty and beautiful bottles; they easily become decorative pieces for around the house. I also love the scents. My favourite i probably Marc Jacobs Lola; I believe it's a very sophisticated and long lasting scent. I like Marc Jacobs Honey since the scent is still evident by the end of the day, and I favour Daisy but have been running low on it for some time so tend to use this one sparingly.
In terms of my non Marc Jacobs range, my favourite is definitely Prada Candy; it's just so beautiful and unique. I like Dolce and Gabanna Light Blue for similar reasons but it also reminds me of a particular time in my life (of when I was first gifted Light Blue) and since I miss those times it can often be a difficult reminder. It's interesting and crazy how such strong emotions can be enlivened from a perfume.
The first perfume I ever owned, unsurprisingly, was curious by Britney Spears. I received it from a family friend for my 18th birthday and it meant so much as I'd never owned anything like it before. In contrast te latest addition to my collection is Marc Jacobs Daisy Delight which I purchased myself in a recent sale in Priceline I never thought I owned enough variations of the traditional Daisy. Overall I like that my perfume collection was mainly gifted which makes it increasingly special. As you can tell I didn't try to describe each scent as thought wouldn't have made much sense. I've heard scents being called woody and playful before but what does that even mean? For now lets just admire the bottles.

And i am superised that you have the dot by marc jacobs , they are lucky to have many of those , what admire about this perfume is not the scent but the bottom design. this is beyonce a perfume product but a work of art

I am very boring with my scents, I don't have many and stick to the ones I know. I am a huge fan of unique scents so Angel by Theirry Mugler is my all time favourite.

Lovely! I have never really owned too many fancy perfumes. I did have Vera Wang Princess years ago, my parents bought it for me. I also had the Katy Perry perfume, and the bottle is cute, it is a purple kitty, and the perfume itself is really nice!
I really like the photo with the love necklace :) I love MJ perfume design and the scents as well, I always smell them all when I pass through a parfumerie or duty free :)

this is such a lovely collection! as much as i love perfumes, i've actually gone for four years (!) without using one now. i just find them so expensive and because it's really hard for me to find a perfume that i absolutely love and that doesn't give me a migraine i haven't found it in my heart to invest in one, haha. daisy is a favourite, though:-) xx

I love perfumes as well! I currently use YSL's Parisienne right now but I'm starting to use Elizabeth and James Nirvana White right now!
Oooh I remember my first perfume, Light Blue by Dolce & Gabbana. I still love that fresh scent but my mum started using this a few years back so I had to stop (curse her lol) I was thinking of going back to it though, despite people thinking it's her scent now. I do love me some MJ too. Oh Lola is on high rotation (probably to do with the weather)

You have such a great perfume collection! I agree with you about the descriptions of each scent too - I have to smell things for myself, I have no idea after reading descriptions, haha!
And like you, I find different scents have different memories tied up with them too - perfumes are a very emotional thing! :)
