New In: Kitten Castaway Bag
Hi all. Today I wanted to show you my new bag from the Kitten D'Amour Castaway Collection. I've had my eye on this bag for months, ever since it came into the preview section of the website. It's the first time I've seen a Kitten D'Amour brand bag. I've always loved nautical inspired pieces and this one is even more detailed and adorable. It's beautifully structured and even has red and white polka dot lining. I'm not as impressed with the latest Castaway collection from Kitten D'Amour as I thought I'd be. It's rather expensive for what it is. There's only one item of clothing that I like which is the dress but $250 is much too expensive for a day dress. Also, the brand name printed all over the dress (in the same way as the bag) ruined it for me- although it's ok on a bag. I'm pleased I just came away with the bag.

Being a vegetarian I was pleased to see that the Kitten D'Amour Castaway Kitten Handbag is made from Vinyl rather than leather. It is pretty and I like the prints of square rigged sailing ships, lighthouses, ships spoked wheels and anchors on the bag. I do think they fell overboard advertising the brand. The Kitten D'Amour Castaway Kitten Dress I clicked on on their site looked very pretty and was shown at US $175.62 with no advertising on the dress (unlike the handbag) and had pretty red lapels and red trim ate the hem. Unfortunately the link to the dress crashed my browser twice, but it was a lovely looking dress.

I agree with you, dear Imogen, the brand name, although a great brad, cause you always show very nice pieces from it - so, again, the brand name all over a dress and for that price is a no-go, but for a bag it's fine. And I really loved the bag, with the retro vibe and some red on it! I would looove to have it, no joke! I will take a look where I can find it online, if you don't mind!

I do agree with you about the brand name being printed all over the garment - not a big fan of that either, but as you said, when it is on the bag, it does look more subtle! I think that the brand name really complements the design of the bag! I do like it a lot & it is so you! :)
