Formal Event

Hello everyone, I hope you are all having an enjoyable week. I have been extremely busy recently since I have attended many social events and I was called into work three days last week. I didn't expect any of this to happen and, although it has been good and I will never say no to an outing, I thought that holidays would be more restful and I would like to relax more this week. The holidays are already going way too fast but I am generally feeling happier on a daily basis and I still have many things to look forward to. On the weekend I attended a formal event which was a fundraiser for cancer research. I love any opportunity to dress up as I adore formal wear and I have many dresses that I don't have much of an opportunity to wear. It was a very enjoyable event and it was good to support such a worthy cause.



I wore my Review dress for the second time and my new Sportsgirl shoes that I posted a few weeks ago. I was very impressed by these shoes and they were so very comfortable. I don't have too many plans for this week so hopefully I will have time to catch up on all your blogs.

Outfit

This weekend I spent time with Rydog and his family and I had so much fun while at a dinner party, sewing and attending the park. Even though I went out regularly during the university semester there was always the feeling in the back of my mind that I should be completing assessments but this time, since I am on holidays, I feel completely free from all obligations and I can enjoy my time out even more. It will be a good feeling when I wake up in the morning knowing that, unlike other Mondays, I can relax and I may even go shopping.











On Saturday I wore my new skater dress. I love this style of dress at the moment and I may even consider buying another one in a different pattern. I also wore my Bardot blazer which I bought at the beginning of the year. I feel like I have rediscovered this blazer because I this is only the second time I have worn it and I am so pleased that I have because it is very versatile and goes with almost everything. I am FREE

Hello everyone. I finished exams today. It is all over, I am free and I feel like I have my life back. Although some of my exams were reasonable I feel as though my last two did not go well at all because the questions were difficult and I didn't have enough time. I cannot guarantee that I passed all subjects but I guess I will see what happens. However, nothing can bring me down right now because I feel so relieved that the semester has finished. It has been one long huge struggle for me and I really hope that everything will work out. I have so many things that I would like to do this holiday but I know that six weeks will go fast.

These are some clothes and accessories that I bought and received in the last couple of weeks. I bought most of them myself because I was feeling down while at university and preparing for exams so I needed some thing to cheer me up. I know its not the best method for getting through but it can help a bit.

I was inspired by many bloggers to purchase a floral skater dress and I had been searching for one for a very long time. I was so pleased when I finally bought one but after I bought it I found another skater dress which I liked the same for a much lower price. Its annoying but I'm still pleased with my purchase. I received the necklace as a gift last weekend. It all came attached as a one piece necklace but it is actually many parts which you can use to create lots of different styles. I have been attempting to create different looks and there can be so many by attaching various necklaces and styles together. It is so amazing and I love it.

Outfit

Hello everyone. I have wanted to take some outfit pictures for many weeks now because I have new clothes that I'd like to post but it has been raining so much and very cold so I haven't had much of a chance.Fortunately today I found these pictures stored on my computer which were taken a couple of weeks ago and I have not yet posted. This is the Bardot jacket that I received a couple of months ago for my birthday. It is my favourite jacket, I wear it frequently and I'm sure you will see it on my blog a few other times.














I'm still trying to study for exams. I'm certainly not working as much as I should but I'm getting something done and I'll see what happens. I like to post even when I am busy because its a welcome break from studying but I think this be my last post until after next Wednesday. I cannot wait and I'm already starting to think of all the fun things I plan to do during the holidays.

Sex and the City 2

I saw Sex and the City 2 on Saturday night and I loved it. I am a major fan of Sex and the City so I knew before I went that I would enjoy it and the movie certainly did not disapoint. It was a fun movie and I always love following the stories of the four girls who we have all come to know so well now and I like how its the sort of movie that I feel so involved in that I become distracted from the real world for awhile. Its definitely the best movie that I've seen in a long time. I can't wait until it comes out on DVD so I can watch it again. I went to see it with Rydog and his sisters. Poor Rydog, he was so bored! So have you see Sex and the City 2 and if so, what did you think of it?















I am still preparing for my university exams that start on Saturday morning which I am still finding difficult. I think that this will be one of the most difficult weeks of my whole life because I am extremely unprepared for company accounting which I have first and not very long to learn the content of a very difficult subject. I don't know how I will do it and sometimes I feel like giving up but I am trying to tell myself that it won't be for too long and that one week of discomfort will be better than failing and having to do the whole course again. I know that may seem obvious but it is something that I need to keep at the front of my mind. I also need to try and draw some motivation from what I have already completed. Last week I finished my final essay for constitutional law and finished some of the case notes for property law. There is still a long way to go but I am getting there. I know what I have to do and it all depends on whether I can actually do it or not. Again commenting will be less frequent than usual until I finish exams on June 16.

Forever New

I love the current collection at Forever New. The polka dots, nude tones and detailing combined with the theme of the collection makes these pictures amazing. The favourite item is the polka dot dress which may be obvious depending on how long you have been viewing my blog. I was in Forever New last weekend when shopping with Rydog and his family and we almost bought the polka dot dress. I think we were planning to go back to it but it didn't happen and I had to consider that it is now the middle of winter and it is a summer tea dress. I want to buy it so much more after seeing it on the website today.









I'm so sorry that I am behind in commenting at the moment and I don't think I have ever been this behind. Unfortunately, I won't be able to fully catch up on it for two more weeks until the university semester is over. I certainly won't be studying the whole time and I am still planning to go out but I will have a lot less time than usual. I hope you understand and in two weeks I will definately be around here much more frequently. I haven't had a chance to take any outfit pictures lately because it has been raining so much in the last couple of weeks. I wish it would stop! I will hopefully show an outfit soon and I want to make a post about Rydog's birthday that was last weekend. I had the most amazing weekend, it was so fun and I wish I didn't have to end so fast.
