Kitten D'Amour Collection

Yesterday I had a meeting in the city and wasn't due at work for awhile so I decided to fit in some sneaky shopping. I very rarely go into the Sydney CBD so I thought it would be a good opportunity to check out the relatively new Kitten D'Amour shop. I first discovered Kitten D'Amour a number of years ago while on holidays in Queensland. I'd never seen anything like it before; the designs were simply exquisite and out of this world. I seriously wanted to own the whole shop. My mother in law kindly bought me two beautiful pieces and I still wear them frequently to this day. You can see my post on that outfit here. That holiday reminds me of happier times; my mother in law used to be my best friend and now the relationship has completely broken down. It breaks my heart every day and is a huge part of why I've felt so depressed in recent times. Anyway, back to the shopping. Since then I've loved Kitten D'Amour and maintained a moderate interest in their website but they never had a store in Sydney...and now they do! I love so much about the clothes; one of my favourite random aspects is the fact they use beautiful velvet ribbon on just about everything. I made one purchase which is the top featured in the first picture. I wanted to buy more but to be honest the pieces are rather expensive. The top I bought was 50% off so they do have some good sales. Here are  few of my favourite looks from the current collection. I notice some of the pictures were taken around Sydney city; it's cool to be able to recognise the locations in a photoshoot.

My absolute favourite is this piece here, the High Society Opera Dress. I tried it on in the store today and fell in love. It is my dream dress; so unique, a class of its own and the most beautiful I've seen. I didn't have the money but I will be saving up and returning for this treasure.

RED Valentino 2014 Spring/Summer Pre Collection

The RED Valentino 2014 Spring/Summer Pre Collection is my absolute favourite at the moment. It is incredibly beautiful, elegant, classic and romantic, and I adore the youthful fun vibe. The patterns are super stunning as is the embroidery and detailing. The tulle skirts and fit and flare dresses remind me of beautiful ballerinas. or a romantic fairtytale The headbands and flats are adorable additions to the incredible outfits. The combination of pretty peplum tops layered over the cropped pants is not my usual style but here I believe they are completely stunning. I'm especially in love with the sweetly patterned dresses and coats and the tulle skirts. I can't speak highly enough of this collection. It is perfect.

Kate Spade Spring/ Summer 2014

I love the Kate Spade Spring/ Summer 2014 collection and these are my favourite looks. In recent times I've become really obsessed with all things Kate Spade; it's my dream to own a Kate Spade bag and a Kate Spade pair of shoes. I adore the fun and often quirky designs. The prints and colours are very happy. The silhouettes adds so much to the pieces. My favourites are the bright pink dress, the pink coat with the black trim and the white and yellow dress which is finished off with the overlaying yellow top. I'd happily wear each one of these pieces. It's so beautiful.I know I'm fairly late posting these pictures but I was looking at them again recently and just thought I had to show them. It reminded me of how much I adored this set.

Alice and Olivia 2014 Resort Collection

I love the Alice and Olivia 2014 Resort Collection. Here are a few of my favourite looks. The best outfit, in my opinion, is the red and white dress with the lips print (outfits don't come much better than that!) The blue and white lace dress, as well as the stripe crop top with the red flared skirt, come a close second. All the looks are gorgeous and I adore the beautiful backdrop. It is so pretty. I'm really impressed by Alice and Olivia lately; it's quickly becoming one of my most respected brands. I love the girly, classy and dressy look. The shoes used in this photoshoot remind me so much of a pair of heels which I have (the pair I posted here).
