Outfit

I've been looking for a polka dot skirt for the last few months and I finally found one- in my sister's wardrobe It was a skirt that she used to wear to ballroom dancing and she doesn't wear it now so she gave it to me. I've had so much trouble finding one of these skirts in the shops and I can't believe there was one in our house the whole time. I love the flair on the skirt and how I can wear it really high to make it look like a dress. It reminds me of American Apparel skirts. I don't think these photos do the skirt justice and I had some trouble with the sunlight while taking them. This is probably my favourite outfit at the moment and I'd like it wear it with high heels for a night out. It was a reasonably warm day today considering that it is the middle of winter. I was only a bit cold wearing this top.

University results were released this week and I received three credits. Its a lot better than I expected, especially since I thought I would fail some subjects. I am very pleased and its such a relief. I am still waiting for the results of contract law. I went shopping today and I bought a new skirt and top. There isn't much I like in the shops at the moment, but today I found a couple of things in the children's department. They are reasonably stylish and not childish at all. I will probably show you my purchases in my next outfit post.

You look very pretty and that skirt is lovely. That's funny the skirt you were dreaming about was right under your nose the entire time! Makes me wonder if I should go to my parents' house and raid my mom's closet...hmmm...hehe.
Congrats on the academic results! I can't wait to see your new clothes! :)

Pretty skirt! My sister and I like to share clothes, as well. It's even better when she gives me her cast-offs :) I nearly grinned from ear-to-ear when I read that you bought some things from the children's department. I often do that, too! :)

Congrats on your uni results :)

Well done on your results...It's so strange that grades differ in other countries (In the UK we get graded 1st, 2:1, 2:2 etc) Anyhow, I love that skirt!

First, thanks for your lovely comment on my blog. It's always nice to hear from you.

Isn't it the nicest thing to find clothes in a sister's or mom's wardrobe? I miss doing so terribly! Now that I am on my own in England, the only wardrobe I can look into is mine! I'll be sure to look around theirs when I go over in September though... hehe

And well done for your results girl! Let us know how you did when you hear about contract laws.

Looking forward to see your new skirt and top! I agree with you, there aren't that many things in shops at the moment... Will go have a look this week anyway, we never know!
