A Sunny Day in the Park

Today was a lovely sunny day and in the afternoon I went to the park with Rydog. I always like going to this particular park and it has some very beautiful places to take photos.

The skirt I am wearing is one that I made not so long ago. This skirt is probably my favourite at the moment and there are many different tops to wear it with. I am aware that I haven't posted a skirt tutorial yet but I have been thinking about it and I realised that I am not yet skilled enough to do so. I had a lot of help even with my second skirt and I can't actually remember all the steps. After I finish university for the year I am planning to spend some time improving my skills and eventually I will be able to show you how to make one too.















After the park I came home and worked on my criminal law assessment. It wasn't a very productive night because I usually go out at this time of the week so I found it very difficult to concerntrate. At least I got something done. I hope everyone is having a good weekend.

Tasmania

This time last week my family went to Tasmania. I decided not to join them since it was the middle of a university semester for me and it allowed me to invite Rydog to come and stay for a few days. Rydog and I had a very fun and relaxing weekend. When my family returned I was amazed by how scenic all the photos were. It looks like such a beautiful place so I thought I would share some pictures here.

Outfit

This is the outfit I wore yesterday. I bought the red jacket recently and I like it because of the shiny material and because I've been searching for a short jacket for some time. It was lovely to have some sun yesterday since the weather has been colder than normal for this time of year. But I hear that next week will be nice and warm.









I've had quite a relaxing weekend so far. I should have been studying more but I gave myself a break because I have so much on next week. I don't want to feel tired or unmotivated to complete it all. I hope everyone is having a good weekend.

Fashion- Alannah

Today I thought I would share some Alannah Hill fashion. This is one of my favourite labels at the moment and although I have been aware of it for some time, its not until recently that I have examined the pieces more closely and realised how amazing they are. I like the colours, detailing and femininity of the designs, especially all those bows. I think this collection is very beautiful.

Purchases

Its a long weekend here but unfortunately the weather is terrible. Its been raining for the past two days and it has become cold again. For that reason I have been unable to take outfit pictures which is really annoying because I haven't posted any in awhile and I have a few to show. I went to the movies and on a fun shopping trip today because there wasn't much else to do in this weather. I made some purchases but I think they will be my last ones for awhile because I should save some money:

Finally my search for a black skirt has come to an end. I'd been looking for the past six months but none were right. This one is the correct length and shape. I bought the top because I love florals at the moment. I usually wear patterned skirts and plain tops but it is good to have a change sometimes. I bought the shoes because I have many flats shoes and some high heels but nothing in between. These will suit occassions when a low heel is more appropriate.

Here are some pictures of my new fringe. I'd been wanting to have my hair like this for awhile but I was concerned that it wouldn't turn out right. But I am very pleased with it now.



Tomorrow I'm going to a BBQ. I just hope the weather doesn't ruin it.
