Talk Next Week

Tomorrow I am leaving for a very short holiday and I will only be away from Wednesday to Saturday. I wish I could have a longer holiday but I simply do not have any more time than that. I may even have to take some assessments with me but that depends on how much I get done today and I'm sure most of the four days will be spent having fun. I hope the weather will be warm and sunny because I am planning to visit the beach. While I am away I decided to leave you with a picture from my last four day holiday in July. It is from Dreamworld on the Gold Coast.

Purchases

Yesterday I went shopping for a few hours in the afternoon and bought two new dresses. The warmer weather has given me a desire to search for pretty new dresses and I am pleased with what I bought. They were both on sale for very reasonable prices especially the second dress which only cost $15. How could I not have bought it for $15? It is one of the best bargains I have ever found. I also tried it on with a black skirt so that it looks like a top and this look is effective too. I don't have any other dresses that double as a top so that makes it an even more worthwhile purchase. I bought the shoes last week and they cost much more than I would usually pay so I still feel slightly bad for such expenditure. They are just so beautiful that I simply could not resist. Recently I haven't spent too much on clothes and shoes so overall I think it is acceptable.

Park Part 2

These are the rest of the pictures from my trip to the park two weekends ago. It was such a fun day and there were so many opportunities to take pictures. I also have a few close ups of my hairstyle too so I hope that shows it well enough.





















Right now I am having a major crisis with my assessment for equity and trusts. I have absolutely no idea where the start or how to go about it and it covers so many different issues that I am feeling a sense of information overload. I feel so incredibly lost and I spent most of today on it with no success. I have never had this situation with an assessment at university before so I am really really worried about what I am going to do. I am having more success with my accounting assessment so that makes me feel slightly better. I must complete these assessments soon because I am considering going away for a few days at the end of next week and if I do I need to be reasonably organised. I really hope that somehow I can get myself together. Once again I'm sorry for being so behind in comenting. I will catch up eventually.

Park Part 1

Saturday was such a warm and beautiful day so I decided to attend the park and it was the perfect opportunity to take some pictures. I went with Rydog and Sara who is my future sister in law but the way we see it, we are already sisters. We took so many pictures so I have decided to divide the trip into two posts. I have been experimenting with a new hairstyle on the weekend and my mum came up with the genius idea in the first place. It is a series of twists at the front and then the rest of my hair is left out. I love it because it adds some detailing to the top and addresses the flat and lifeless appearance that my hair usually has. I'll post a close up of it in part two of my trip to the park.

Polka Dot Dresses

Recently I have felt an overwhelming desire to have either a red or black polka dot dress. I think it is a result of my general love for polka dots and the excitement of the warm spring weather that is on its way here. I currently have some polka dot dresses in navy blue and white and I have one in black which is more appropriate to be worn to a formal event so I'm looking out for some more dresses particularly in red and white. I have not had any success in finding such a dress at the moment so I decided to look at modcloth, as I often do. I was amazed by the number of inspiring polka dot dresses that I found there. My favourites are probably the red dresses at the bottom and the red and black dress at the top. I just cannot explain how much I love these dresses.

I am really enjoying the warmer weather in Sydney at the moment and like always, at the end of winter, I am desperate for some warmth and the chance to wear my pretty summer dresses. Life seems much better and I feel happier in the warm weather. However last Saturday, which was my only opportunity to take some outfit pictures, it was raining and I was very dissapointed because I haven't been able to make anywhere near as many outfit posts as I would have liked to. One of the reasons for less opportunities to take outfit pictures is because Rydog, who always helps me take photos, has recently got a full time job and I never see him in the day during the week now. Overall I am extremely pleased for him having this job and it means we are working towards our future together which is exciting.
